Liebfrauenkathedrale

Liebfrauenkathedrale (Cathedral of Our Lady) in Antwerpen, Belgium. From the technical point of view, this was a very difficult photo, because is taken at night with no tripod using a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 lens, which is in fact a very slow lens and using a Canon EOS 400D camera that supports ISO 1600 at most. After a few shots and some level tinkering it ended up quite well, i think. A lot of noise, yes, but on black and white I kinda like it.

  1. I like the lines in this photo. You have all perspective lines drawing your eyes to the center. I’m asuming you shot this at 10mm. Good way to get the most light available. I don’t mind the noise.
